Events and Conference Services provides a single point of contact for all of your needs on campus to ensure the success of your event or conference.

Audio/Visual Services

The University Conference Center also offers affordable rental of audio/visual equipment to help make your event the best it can be.

Our inventory includes LCD and overhead projectors; sound systems for speakers or panels; microphones, wireless and wired; televisions with DVD; whiteboards; and screens.

Catering & Liquor

Groups can use a caterer of their choice or the Events Manager can assist you with a recommendation to suit your meeting needs.

Groups which self-cater are responsible for general cleanup after your event.

Groups interested in serving liquor for their events must do so only with the permission of the Events Manager.  A Connecticut state liquor license is required and liquor is authorized to be distributed only by a licensed caterer.


The UConn-Stamford parking garage is located at 1194 Washington Blvd., Stamford CT 06901.  Parking is available on the second level of the garage.  There is a fee for Visitor’s Parking, which can be accessed through this website here: http://park.uconn.edu/paybyphone-mobile-parking-payments/. Please follow all instructions in order to correctly pay for parking. Additionally, there are 6 parking coin meters on this floor, which have a limit of 3 hours. Paybyphone.com allows you to park all day if necessary, so choose the option that works best for you.


Sign holders are available for placement within the University for directional purposes. Sign holders must be used in conjunction with a reserved event and are available only during the room reservation hours.

Sign holders cannot be used for pre-event signage.

Signs on sign holders must be removed immediately following the event.

Specific limitations apply as to the use of tape, balloons, glitter, candles, and other decorations.  Consult with the Events Manager to discuss whether your decoration ideas are allowed.

All decorations must be removed from the University at the completion of a reservation.




7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Half Day:

or: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

or: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Full Day:

7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.


Three weeks prior to event/meeting date, UConn will charge client 50% of room fee (nonrefundable).

Five calendar days prior to event, UConn will charge 100% of room fee (nonrefundable).
