ONE-STOP SHOP
The Event Support team will help you to outfit your event with rental equipment, tables, chairs and more. To get you started, please view the services below.
Audio/Visual Services:
The University Conference Center offers state-of-the-art media technology equipment to ensure that your event will be successful. Please contact us for more information.Campus WIFI:
The UConn-Stamford campus provides free wireless access to guests in most locations on campus, including the public areas of residence halls, all classrooms and event spaces.Catering & Liquor:
- Groups can use a caterer of their choice or the Events Manager can assist you with a recommendation to suit your meeting needs.
- Groups that choose to self-cater are responsible for general cleanup after your event.
- Groups interested in serving liquor for their events must do so only with the permission of the Events Manager.
- A Connecticut state liquor license and liability insurance is strictly required by a licensed caterer.
Facilities Management:
Facilities Management offers a wide range of services in support of special events.
These services include, but are not limited to:
• University-owned Furniture and Equipment
• Set-up and Removal
• Pre- and Post-Event Area Cleaning
Parking:
The UConn-Stamford parking lot is located at 1194 Washington Blvd., Stamford CT 06901.

Additional parking near campus can be found at Target (Broad Street) and Summer street parking garage (behind Target). Each location are pay structures.
Signage:
- Sign holders are available for placement within the University for directional purposes.
- Sign holders must be used in conjunction with a reserved event and are available only during the room reservation hours.
- Sign holders cannot be used for pre-event signage.
- Signs on sign holders must be removed immediately following the event.
- Specific limitations apply as to the use of tape, balloons, glitter, candles, and other decorations.
- Consult with the Events Manager to discuss whether your decoration ideas are allowed.
- All decorations must be removed from the University at the completion of a reservation.
